We reviewed this product five years ago, meanwhile we tested it a few times in different
working environments and also talked to many of its users that were willing to share their
impressions. So, we give you the most honest review with all the good and the bad mentioned.
There is no doubt that the Grex AC1810 air compressor is a sturdy, effective and reliable unit. It’s the kind of tool you don’t have to worry about during usage. We used it for small job but also tested it for long lasting ones. When running at a lower PSI, like hobbyist do, you will hear the motor often.
So, if you’re a beginner hobbyist, don’t worry, everything is good. On the other hand, if the PSI is kept high, the unit will run occasionally as it stores a nice amount of air.
Now, this might sound stupid, but in some moments, you really get to appreciate the divine handle – more helpful than you’d think.
Another great thing is the built-in moisture trap that helps when you are moving around a lot. The suction feet aren’t perfect but they don’t scratch your hardwood floor, so that’s a plus.
Another minor complaint would be regarding the airbrush holster – it can break at the support base. However, you can fix this easily by getting a dedicated airbrush holder.
And of course, there’s the feature that your family or neighbors appreciate the most – the unit runs quietly. So, while you’re working no complaints will be made. This airbrush compressor has great performance and is made to run on a daily basis. The unit it completely user friendly and easy to set up.
The company really did a great job on the regulator that will certainly prolong the life span of the compressor. If you are in a hunt for an airbrush compressor, this one is a real catch!
